Oldies but goodies from Critical Mass, HUGE, and R/GA

Before transitioning fully into in-house product design, I worked at a few well regarded NYC digital agencies. At those agencies I held both designer and art director roles, working on marketing experiences, internal branding initiatives, and digital products. I was fortunate to work with brand with national and global reach across industries including finance, telecommunications, automotive, and higher education.

The opportunity of working for such a broad range of clients with diverse engagement needs helped me develop into a well-rounded designer. This has provided me with the flexibility to function in a number of roles at agencies, a large financial services company, and a sports technology startup.

At Critical Mass, I served as a design lead for client engagements with Citibank, Quinnipiac University, BMW USA, and internal agency initiatives. My focus varied based on the project, encompassing product design, visual identity, and design systems. Working on the first native iOS Citibank app and systematized content-managed enterprise experiences facilitated my evolution from visual design to a versatile product designer.

The Archive: HUGE

At HUGE, I spent a considerable amount of time on a few client engagements, namely Pepsi, Comcast, and MassMutual. Despite this focus, I had the opportunity to work with diverse brands across finance, consumer packaged goods, retail, technology, and publishing. During my tenure, HUGE doubled in size, extending its global reach—an exciting period for the agency.

The Archive: R/GA

While not my first design job, R/GA holds a special place in my heart as the first NYC agency I worked for. It's where I honed my skills designing extensive enterprise e-commerce experiences for Verizon and Verizon Wireless (distinct entities). While Nike was the prominent account, VZ/VZW covered the bills, effectively supporting the more glamorous projects across the agency.
